Thomas Timmons credits his choice of career in large part to his upbringing. His parents were avid restaurant diners, and Timmons’ first food memory was peeling boiled shrimp with his father at The Duck Inn on the beach in Norfolk,VA.

At age 14, Abby took her first step in the culinary world as part of the front of house team in Frenchtown, NJ at The Bridge Cafe. There, she met Ken Miller who encouraged her to pursue a career in pastry. By the time Abby graduated from high school, she had worked her way to the line, making desserts and learning the intricacies of the back of house.
